CHBN Launch New Web Stream

CHBN have now launched a new and improved web stream for those who listen to the station online.

In addition to the quality and reliability being improved, we now also offer two streams - AAC STEREO and MP3 MONO.

The AAC stereo stream offers the best quality using highly efficient state-of-the-art audio technology and should play in most browsers on most devices.

New Band from the School of Rock in Studio 2

A teenage band who formed just two weeks ago performed live in the CHBN studio last Friday (19th February 2016).

The as yet unnamed acoustic group got together after meeting at the School of Rock South West, based in Camborne, and comprise guitarists Harvey Taylor, Ollie Hancock, Alfie Marshall and singer Elisa Byese.

They performed two songs: A Small Village, written by Elisa four years ago, and a cover of Price Tag by Jessie J.

Walk For Wards 2015

On Sunday 14th June 2015, the second Walk for Wards took place at Trebah Gardens near Falmouth, raising money for the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity.

Walk for Wards is part of a national initiative and at RCHT was used to raise funds for the Royal Cornwall, St Michael’s and West Cornwall hospitals. Walkers can raise money for individual wards, departments or RCHT’s general charitable fund.

The walk was supported by many departments and staff from within the hospital's trust together with local people who were keen to support their local hospital.
