Radio Goes Visual
CHBN – Truro’s Community and Hospital Broadcasting Network is looking for photographers, designers, artists in any medium to help us with a new fundraiser
We are planning a calendar for 2023 and we want the community in and around Truro to be part of it. This is a project for everyone. There are three categories: age under 11, ages 11 – 18 and over 18.
When you think of Truro, what do you see? Can you portray your thoughts in an original/amusing/quirky/colourful way? A photo, a painting, a sketch, a drawing, a collage – whatever. Each calendar month will show three pictures with, we hope, a cross section of the Truro experience.
We have in mind Truro’s architecture, history, gardens, wildlife, even pets – indeed anything with a Truro connection. Your entry could even feature local events which are part of the fabric of our Great Little City.
Our panel of judges will choose the 36 pictures for inclusion. They will be publicly acknowledged if the entrant wishes. In any case, we are planning to feature all pictures received on our website to illustrate the interests of our local community.
Please send your entries as a high quality photo attachment to calendar@chbnradio.org with your full contact details and your age if under 18. The closing date for entries is Tuesday 31st May 2022.
