Dave joined CHBN in January 2009 "after finally giving up the mobile disco scene." He presents 2 shows a week, one on Wednesday evenings and the other on Thursday afternoons.
Dave says "I grew up as child in the 1950s, the 'Era of Radio'. I was and always have been an avid radio listener, much preferring it to television. Volunteering for CHBN seemed a natural progression after many years of playing in a band and running a mobile disco. Broadcasting allows me to continue enjoying music whilst sharing it with listeners, along with some of my knowledge.
"Away from the studio I am interested in sport, mostly Moto GP, World Superbikes and football. I generally keep an eye on current world affairs. I also enjoy walking and of course keeping up with music scene.
