CHBN Shortlisted in National Awards

CHBN have made the shortlist in two categories for the National Hospital Radio Awards 2023.
The station has made the Top 10 shortlist in the categories of "Station of the Year" and "Best Station Promotion" (for our Listener Survey promo). This shows that the station is amongst one of the best in the country.
Some of the team will be travelling to Bolton for the Awards Ceremony in March to see if they pick up Bronze, Silver or Gold in any of the categories. The awards are held as part of the Hospital Broadcasting Association national conference.

CHBN Volunteer Recruitment Days

The total impact of the Covid restrictions can never be quantified. For CHBN, Truro's Hospital and Community Radio Station, the consequences were not just financial. For nearly three years, only the technical team have had access to our studios at the Royal Cornwall Hospital. Our presenters have been broadcasting from their own mini studios at home.
